What is EFT?

EFT is short for Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as Tapping, is a form of counselling intervention within the field of Energy Psychology that draws on various theories of alternative medicine, including acupuncture, neuro-linguistic programming and energy healing.

How does EFT work?

EFT works by releasing blockages within the energy system which are the source of emotional intensity and discomfort, as well as forming new, positive, neural pathways to the brain. By addressing limiting beliefs held at a subconscious level, EFT literally frees a person from unwanted emotional responses such as anxiety, fear and sadness, helping you to avoid remaining in a state of overwhelm or panic.
